Know The Dripper

Your coffee is brewed using the Flower Dripper pour-over device by the Japanese company Cafec. This dripper is made from Tritan, a synthetic resin developed by Eastman Corporation, a global leader in specialty materials. Tritan is BPA-free, highly durable, and certified safe by regulatory authorities worldwide. Its safety and reliability make it suitable for use in baby products, medical components, and premium coffee equipment. The Tritan Flower Drippers are also approved for sale in the EU, which is known for its strict regulations on plastic products.

What does naturally processed mean?

The natural process (also known as the dry process or sun-dried process) is one of the oldest methods of coffee processing. It involves drying the entire coffee cherry, with the bean still encased in its fruit, instead of removing the fruit and mucilage early in the process as done in other methods like washed or honey processing.

What is Coffee Roast Level?

Coffee roast levels describe the degree to which coffee beans are roasted, impacting their flavor, aroma, and appearance. The primary roast levels are:

  • Light Roast: Beans are light brown in color, with no surface oil. They retain the bean’s natural flavors, resulting in bright acidity and fruity or floral notes.
  • Medium Roast: Medium brown beans with a balanced flavor profile. Acidity is reduced, and sweetness increases, offering a smooth and rounded taste.
  • Dark Roast: Dark brown beans with a shiny, oily surface. These roasts have bold, bittersweet flavors with caramelized and smoky notes. Acidity is diminished, and roasting extends into or beyond the second crack

Each level highlights different characteristics of the coffee bean, catering to diverse taste preferences.
